Living in Jozi/Johannesburg/Jo’burg

Johannesburg skyline from Norfolk Road in Kensington

I live in Johannesburg, South Africa’s largest and most diverse city. Also known as Jozi or Jo’burg, it is probably the most underrated city in South Africa.  Established in 1886, Jozi has mushroomed from a dusty mining town into the skyline you see above.

This photo of the skyline was taken during February 2010 from Norfolk Road near Kensington. This blog is a platform for me to share my favourite bits of Johannesburg. I look forward to your feedback and suggestions!
